Carthage, Missouri, bekannt als Amerikas Maple Leaf City, heißt Reisende aus aller Welt willkommen. Karthago ist eine einzigartige Kreuzung aus Geschichte, Kunst und Inspiration, die an der Kreuzung der historischen Route 66 und des Jefferson Highway liegt.

 

 Mit vier historischen Vierteln und über 550 Gebäuden, die im National Register of Historic Places aufgeführt sind, hat Karthago Menschen und Unternehmen mit beeindruckenden Geschichten beherbergt, die Reisende noch heute faszinieren. Bürgerkriegs-Guerillas, Wildwest-Gesetzlose und mächtige Geschäftsleute haben ihre Spuren in der Geschichte der Region hinterlassen. In der heutigen Zeit feiert die Gemeinde das Erbe durch Kunst und Glauben, um Legenden in Karthago am Leben zu erhalten.
